Dr. Afshar is a very knowledgable, professional, kind and caring doctor.Dr. Afshar's demeanor is very calming as you are going through your treatments. He has put together a wonderful staff who portray the same traits.He takes the time to explain what is going on and what will happen. You never feel rushed. I had appointments in both Shelton and Newtown Offices. Both of Dr. Afshar's offices are over 1 hour and 15 minutes from where I live, but worth the trip for the amazing and excellent care I received.
