How was your appointment with Dr. Bernabei?

In early August of last year, I was preparing to participate in the 50m and 100m events in the Michigan Senior Olympics. A seemingly simple stress test derailed those ambitions when it was revealed that I needed a quadruple bypass. I was stunned and devastated. I had never exhibited any symptoms, so this was all the more shocking to me. I was feeling a mountain of personal and financial trepidation as I was admitted to a room. That is when Dr. Bernabei walked in and immediately addressed my fears with a matter-of-fact explanation of what was ahead. There was an objective explanation of what might occur, for good or ill, but something about the even temper of the man, allayed the suppressed panic I was feeling. I went into surgery with as much peace-of-mind as a person could hope for. The excellence of his talents shown through, because the next thing I remember is the smiling face of my wife, followed shortly thereafter by the gentle-but confident countenance of my surgeon, who's gift of life I will never forget. Fast-forward one month ahead and I was walking two-miles a day, another three months and I am now running a mile a day and recovering muscle tone in a gym. I am charged with a vendetta to get even with Father Time for this cruel prank, and again, credit Alvise for providing me the opportunity to see this vendetta through. In closing, Dr. Alvise Bernabei affected my life in a positive way that I will be forever grateful for. He brings credit to Ascension Genesys, and to his profession. I am one of his most fervent advocates, and would recommend him to anyone I know who finds themselves in my circumstances. Thank you Alvise.
