    How was your appointment with Dr. Isaac?

    I had no idea what was wrong with my knee when I went to Dr. Isaac with a puzzling MRI that had led to a recommendation that I see a specialist. Dr. Isaac ordered an X-ray in his office, analyzed it on the spot, and then, after getting to know me, calmly explained that I had an aggressive, probably benign tumor in my knee bone that necessitated immediate removal. He didn't alarm me but inspired me with confidence that I was in the best possible hands. He drew pictures so I could understand what was happening. He respected my intelligence and alleviated my anxiety by letting me know what the likely and other possible diagnoses, solutions and treatments could be, got me into surgery as quickly as possible out of concern for the aggressive nature of the tumor (one week), and told me what I needed to do to prepare (stay off the leg). He is personable, caring and may have saved my life with his quick, decisive and skilled actions. I am recovering now and recommend him with gratitude.
