How was your appointment with Dr. Phillips?

    Jan 05, 2023
After moving to a new state upon retirement, my wife and I needed new PCPs and chose a nearby practice with 2 MDs, both who turned out to be horrible! My wife has a best friend in our new city who subs as needed for nurses for different doctors. She recommended Dr. Phillips, who's office was fairly close to our new home. This was important as my wife has a severe back injury. It is painful for her to ride in a car and I must accompany her on visits, pushing her wheelchair. During our initial visit Dr. P. was friendly, very thorough and genuinely sympathetic to my wife's condition. We were both impressed with the thoroughness and unhurried time he took. Amazingly, if we leave a message with his nurse regarding a medication or question he actually calls us to discuss the issue. He even has called my wife out of the blue just to see how she is doing! When was the last time any doctor treated you that well? After nearly 20 years we are both still delighted to have found him.
