How was your appointment with Dr. Chemmalakuzhy?

Dr. Jake is an excellent doctor and human being! I have so much gratitude and admiration for Dr. Jake. He is not only brilliant but also humble and approachable. Dr. Jake listened to each of my complaints, reviewed my medications, and continued until he "connected all the dots.” My original cardiologist found a PFO, and said, "we'll fix it when you have a stroke." A few years later, COVID struck, and I developed clots and was needing a new cardiologist. In my first appointment, he probed, listened to my responses, and recommended I undergo a TEE to determine the size of the PFO. Due to Dr. Jake's careful analysis of my medical records and the procedures, he strongly advised that I close the PFO. He presented the possible options given my situation with the potential risks and benefits. When my insurance denied the operation, Dr. Jake could have moved on to his next patient, but instead, he advocated on my behalf until it was finally approved. I’m grateful that God had our paths cross.
