How was your appointment with Dr. McCoy?

    Oct 03, 2020
I had a 5-plus centimeter thyroid nodule and was terrified about having the surgery and of course the possible cancer outcome... and all the possible surgery complications (although typically rare) added to my nervousness. In the end I an easy surgical recovery, the incision will leave minimal scarring..no surgical complications...not even the expected ones such as nausea, constipation or pain...I literally had a super easy recovery... and then the grand finale of "no cancer" made the entire experience totally forgettable. I am happy to say I have no surgery horror stories...truly this was a breeze recovery. I was so very fortunate to be in the hands of such a skilled and compassionate surgeon considering the size of the nodule and the surrounding structures that could have been damaged. I have read her other numerous positive 5 star reviews and "highly" recommend Dr. McCoy and hope if I need surgery in the future that I fall into the hands of someone equally skilled.
