You could search the whole world over and never find a more competent Doctor. Dr. Gargis is very thorough and will diagnose your situation almost immediately but will confirm with testing to show you exactly where the problems are before he recommends a treatment plan, which is not an automatic surgery if he doesn't feel it is necessary. He is very honest, to the point and very informative regarding your condition. He will make sure that all of your questions have been answered and you are fully aware of his treatment plan when you leave his office. He is all business and very honest. If that is not what you are looking for in a Doctor, then you are going to the wrong place. His treatment and follow up is top notch. I could not hardly walk when I first met Dr. Gargis. He has done two surgeries (neck & back). My results after these two surgeries were miraculous to me. Both surgeries were performed at different hospitals (Methodist & Clear Lake Regional).
