    How was your appointment with Dr. Ford?

    May 08, 2020
    After having my son I noticed that his first night, while we were still in the hospital, he wasn’t eating well and was throwing up. Dr. Ford came in to see my son and I told her my concerns, she really listened and did a thorough examination. She determined he needed to be sent to NICU and he had to have surgery at 1 day old. I appreciate that she valued my mothering instincts and didn’t dismiss them. I was very upset and scared and she took time to explain things and offered comforting advice. Due to covid I wasn’t able to have any visitors (besides my husband) and the situation was very scary. Dr. Ford took time the next day to come to my room to check on me and even brought a bouquet of flowers. Her bedside manners are excellent and I would recommend her in a heart beat.
