    Dr. Spoolstra has taken care of me for almost 20 years through multiple medical conditions and surgeries. He is an outstanding educator and always helped me to understand my conditions and make some difficult decisions. He is always on top of the current literature in his specialties and those that are related to his. He is very skilled at helping me to get and understand excellent specialist care. He is very smart, kind, empathetic and has a pleasant personality. I am grateful he is my doctor, and think he can take excellent care of people with any internal medicine and geriatric condition.
