How was your appointment with Dr. Winder?

    Dec 02, 2023
This appointment was my first meeting with Dr. Richard Winder, and was a precautious follow up by me for a painful and restrictive right shoulder injury that I sustained on Thanksgiving Day, the previous week. After introductory pleasantries, Dr. Winder was thorough in his queries about my injury, and medical history, and then he proceeded with a careful manipulation of my arm and shoulder to pinpoint the probable injury site(s). He recommended an in-office x-ray, which happily indicated no breaks or bone injury, and which was followed by a cortisone injection to the shoulder for pain management and to improve movement. This treatment is to be followed by a series of physical therapy sessions. I am confident that I received the proper diagnosis, consideration, and initial treatment for my injury from Dr. Winder and his competent staff. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Winder, who was thoughtful and decisive, and the Center itself, which, from making my appointment to my check-in, was very efficient, professional and courteous.
