How was your appointment with Dr. Athavale?

Dr. Athavale did a partial thyroidectomy to treat my husband's thyroid cancer. He thoroughly explained the pros and cons of completely removing the thyroid versus only removing the diseased side. He made a compelling case, but ultimately left the decision to the patient. My husband will follow up with Dr. Athavale with biannual ultrasound scans and we are very confident in his abilities. I have seen Dr. Athavale for hearing loss and his has an audiologist in his office. We recommend him.
