How was your appointment with Dr. Ramachandra?

I was involved in a car accident right out of high school. I was recommended to follow-up with a plastic surgeon (not Dr. Ramachandra) to have corrective surgery on my nose because the damage was pretty extensive. I underwent a procedure with little to no change in appearance and no change in functionality. I was distraught, but was too embarrassed to try and explain to other healthcare providers how distressing it was that my appearance had changed so drastically in early twenties and that breathing had become a chore. A friend saw Dr. R and I decided to reach out. She immediately took my concerns seriously and assured me that my goals for functionality and appearance were realistic. We had multiple meetings to make sure we were clear on our goals and I should expect. A few years later I have had 2 extremely successful surgeries. I can run again and breathe out of my nose and it is impossible to tell that I had 3 nose surgeries. She changed my life and I will be forever thankful.
